DESCRIPTION:Our Friends Electric brings the best of the best of electronic DIY to Sydney for an all-day takeover of Petersham Bowling Club on Saturday the 19th of September\, 2026.\n\nFollowing two zine editions and launch shows across Sydney\, Melbourne and London\, Our Friends Electric expands their scope to present a two-stage mini festival with artists hailing from across the country including veteran local artists: Scraps\, Vacuum\, Horse Macgyver\, Andrew George and California Girls as well as welcoming new formations such as: Close Contact\, Astrid and A Romano. Rare appearances from Elmo Aoyama and Cottage Hag joined by a Sydney debut from Jason Boltex.\n\nDebut DJ sets from Day Job DJs\, Pattys Toybox b2b Blossom Legacy and Sydney’s favourite ‘band 2 DJs’ Perfect Actress. Tarot readings by Lips Network will be set up and available to pre-book or find a time on the day.\n\nOur Friends Electric is a self-funded passion project showcasing\, often over-shadowed\, electronic DIY. Organiser\, Grace Stevenson\, (REBEL YELL\, Close Contact\, 100%) started OFE as a way to connect music makers and listeners\, to broaden community and defy gatekeeping.
