DESCRIPTION:Returning for the 5th edition on Thursday the 17th of September. Music For Mushrooms is a dedication to spaces of transcendence in nature\, in particular to the network of the forest - Mycelium. With this project\, artist Ophelia Bakowski (DJ Luv You)\, alongside special guest T. Xuân Nguyen\, will explore through a selection of compositions\, field recordings\, and live instrumentation\, what it might be like to be a mushroom. Sounds collected and arranged for this work have been gathered in the process of foraging\, consuming\, exuding\, and becoming. Tender has been a space to nourish and develop these ideas and now\, as seasons pass and Spring begins\, it's time to return and imprint our spores again.\n\nFind a taste of what to expect through this live recording from our first edition below !\n\nOphelia and Tender invite you to this deep listening experience\, to sink into the earth and become a mushroom for a brief 180 minutes\; To partake in fungal feelings and indulge in a space of gentle warmth and playful serenity for both mushroom and mushroomee <3\n\n6-9pm Thursday 17 of September\nTickets $30 Full Price / $20 Concession\n\nTender Deep Listening Info:\nYou can enter or exit the listening room at any time throughout the duration. Please remove shoes on arrival and place them in the pigeon holes provided. We will have yoga mats\, cushions and blocks available\, as well as a few seats for early arrivals. We invite guests to make themselves comfortable\, rearranging the furniture in the room as you like to suit your desired activities. Some suggested activities to do while listening: reading\, drawing\, stretching\, playing chess\, meditating\, taking a nap\, nothing. Deep Listening Sessions are not intended to be social events. Please respect our no talking policy and try to keep voice volumes soft if speaking.
