DESCRIPTION:Street party music!\n\nBorn in Ōtautahi\, Yurt Party have spent the past few years riling up dancefloors around Aotearoa\, playing backyards\, clubs and festivals including Electric Avenue\, CubaDupa\, Twisted Frequency\, Shipwrecked and Woodford Folk Festival (Aus).\n\nTheir high-energy instrumental music takes inspiration from Balkan\, Latin and Dub. The tunes are made for dancing\, leaving you with a smile on your face and sore legs in the morning!\n\n2026 kicked off with their Australian debut at Woodford Folk Festival\, where they were tagged as one of the festival's surprise favourites. They also won Best Band with a Fiddler at the Golden Fiddle Awards in Tamworth.
