DESCRIPTION:Celebrating five years of music\, creativity and community.\n\nJoin us at Solace Bar on October 31st for a day-to-night celebration of the people\, sounds and creative energies that have shaped the label over the past five years.\n\nBorn in Naarm/Melbourne\, Club Elevate has always been about more than music. Through the label\, podcast\, events and collaborations\, it has created a platform for local and international artists to share their work\, stories and influences while building genuine connections across Melbourne’s diverse creative community. \n\nThe 5th Birthday brings that community together in one space\, beginning with a curated community market featuring Hotplate\, a collaboration between Solace and Pins ‘N Needles. The market will host record sellers\, food\, and stalls by local creatives\, as well as an interactive vinyl masterclass with one of Naarm’s most trusted selectors. As day moves to night\, the focus shifts towards the dancefloor\, with music by Afrodisiac\, Blinky Bill\, Charlie\, DJ Earl Grey\, JD\, Lums World\, Mordi\, Ricky Nord and Trey. The space will also be transformed by immersive art and decor installations to create a distinctive visual identity for the celebration.\n\nMore than an anniversary party\, the event is an opportunity for us to show gratitude to our people\, the reason Club Elevate exists and the reason it continues to evolve.\n\nFive years of Club Elevate. Built by friends\, shaped by community.\n\nClub Elevate acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional owners of the land on which we will gather\, and we extend our respects to their Elders past and present. Free tickets are available for all First Nations attendees – DM @club___elevate on Instagram to secure.\n\nSolace is located down a flat\, mostly sealed alleyway. There is a single step leading through the 110cm wide entrance door\, which leads to the ground level listening bar. There are no further steps to access this bar\, however there are no bathrooms on this level. There are two flights of 25-step stairs leading up to the first level\, where there are gender-neutral bathrooms and a chill out area. Following another two flights of 25-step stairs is the upstairs club level. Unfortunately\, aside from the staircase\, there are no alternate ways of accessing all levels.
