SUMMARY:THE SHUT UP AND LISTEN CLUB – No. 10
LOCATION:Wax Music Lounge\, 250 Flinders St (basement)\, Melbourne\, VIC\, Australia\, Victoria\, Melbourne
DESCRIPTION:Arrive early. Grab a drink. Talk to a stranger. Shut up. Listen.\n\nKnow that feeling when you sit in front of a piece of art in a gallery? How you notice something new in the work\, or see something else in yourself?\n\nThat's what the Shut Up and Listen Club is about. A communal bench where we listen to an album with no phones and no talking.\n\nEach month a secret album is presented. Picked purely for its artistic ambition and weight. You might know every word\, or you might never have heard a single note. Trust the process.\n\nABOUT NOVEMBER'S SECRET SELECTION\n\nA raw masterwork built on real voice recordings\, spoken-word poetry\, and euphoric rave energy.
