Bringing the high-energy events SUB180 is known for\, to one of the most renowned Ski Fields in New Zealand. High Altitude features an incredible lineup\, headlined by  Sigma \, alongside  Pirapus \, and a 3 hour George FM takeover\, featuring  Sin & Brook\, Sean Hill \, and many more ⚡️ With two stages set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mt Hutt’s snow-covered slopes\, High Altitude will be a festival experience like no other. ---------------------------- Important info below 👇 Rain date  - The rain date for this event is Sunday the 13th of September  - If weather means we are unable to access the mountain then your ticket is automatically valid for our rain date - Please make sure you are available on both dates! There is a higher than usual chance that we will have to use our rain date -  In the event of postponement to the 13th of September there will be no refunds due to the nature of this show Getting to and from Mt Hutt Ski Field -  Every ticket includes a return bus pass from the base of Mt Hutt (Mt Hutt Info Booth in Google Maps) to the Ski Field - The drive time from the base of the mountain to the ski field is 40 minutes - Personal vehicles are not permitted to drive up the mountain  - Car parking passes are available for the base of the mountain. These are $5 each and each vehicle must have 3 or more passengers (say yes to car pooling!) - Our carpark will be kitted out with toilets and a marquee  - Return bus passes are available to purchase from Christchurch\, Ashburton\, Timaru and Methven from $10\, these passes take you to the base of Mt Hutt  Theme and What to Wear  -  Being located on a ski field the theme is Apres-Ski! Rug up in snow jackets\, goggles\, snow boots - You must wear warm layers to attend. It will be COLD on the mountain\, bring a jacket\, long pants and thermal layers. If you don't have warm clothing we can't let you on the mountain - Closed toe shoes are mandatory\, this festival is in the snow guys! ❄️ Accomodation nearby - Support local! There are plenty of affordable stays within Methven including hotels and Airbnbs Other things to do in the region - Make a weekend of it and enjoy everything that Methven has to offer!  - Ski during the day\, party at night with Mt Hutt day passes - Soak in the amazing Opuke Pools  *Ski field and chair lift access is not included in your ticket. Mt Hutt Ski Field closes at 4pm* FAQS Can I ski before the festival? -  Yes you can purchase a ski field entry pass through Mt Hutt separately. You will however need to exit at the end of the day\, drive your vehicle back to the base of the mountain and come back up via our bus which is included in your High Altitude ticket price. There are NO personal vehicles allowed up the mountain for High Altitude. Is there skiing involved during High Altitude? Will the chair lift be open?  - There is NO skiing involved for High Altitude. The event takes place at the bottom of the chair lift after the ski field has closed for the day. The chair lift will be closed. Can I drive my own vehicle up Mt Hutt?  - No you can't. Bus tickets from the base of Mt Hutt are included in your High Altitude ticket. The road up the mountain will be closed to all personal vehicles. How does the bus system work?  - Buses are on constant rotation from the base of Mt Hutt\, leaving approximately every 20 minutes.
